The Crécy forest is a state-owned forest in the Hauts-de-France region, located in the Somme department, between Abbeville and Berck. With a surface area of 4,300 hectares, it is one of the main forest areas in France. It is rich in wood (hornbeam, oak and especially beech) and game.
